How to drive intelligence into your next-gen networks
Network fragilities make change control hard Future of subsequent-generation networks lies in app-aware SDN THE IT panorama has witnessed rapid trade and developments in current years, with boom within the consumerisation of IT, the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trend, and the adoption of cloud computing. Implementing changes, along with onboarding new applications (apps) or system enhancements, is difficult on a network no longer equipped to meet the desires of advanced compute and storage virtualisation solutions. These networks can also even complicate and convolute the whole IT implementation, impeding firms from reaping the proper benefits of the cloud. Unlike compute and storage layers, the good sized majority of facts centre networking gear is 'app-unaware' – blindly forwarding packets amongst users, apps and different networking services. More intervention is required by using network directors to manually deploy, configure and preserve networking infrastru...
