TM R&D and FiberHome in research collaboration pactTM Research & Development Sdn Bhd (TM R&D), a completely-owned subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FiberHome Telecommunications Technologies that could pave the way for greater joint R&D on superior optical and wireless communication technology.
 
In a announcement, TM R&D stated both parties hoped the joint R&D might lead to advancements in the place of Radio over Fiber (RoF) structures, and enable the introduction of extra price-effective and electricity-green complementary solutions for the supply of next technology high pace broadband connectivity in Malaysia.
 
TM R&D will make a contribution its understanding and experience in that field closer to telecommunication frontier tasks. The MoU will even enable each parties to at the same time benefit thru competency and functionality improvement in RoF.
