TM, UEM Sunrise and Iskandar in smart city JV for Nusajaya

TELEKOM Malaysia Bhd (TM), via its completely-owned subsidiary Intelsec Sdn Bhd, has signed an agreement with UEM Sunrise Bhd, through its entirely-owned subsidiary UEM Land Bhd, and Iskandar Innovations Sdn Bhd for the status quo of a joint undertaking organisation as a way to offer and operate smart services in Nusajaya.
 
Iskandar Innovations is an entirely-owned subsidiary of Iskandar Investment Bhd (IIB).
 
The joint assignment is one of the areas which have been recognized in a collaboration agreement signed among TM, UEM Sunrise and IIB in 2012 for the improvement and management of a ‘clever and connected Nusajaya,’ TM said in a assertion.
 
Nusajaya is located in the southern improvement hub of Iskandar Malaysia in the kingdom of Johor.
 
The joint undertaking organization, in which TM may be the majority shareholder, will operate as a controlled services employer. It will layout and construct a clever town infrastructure as well as offer smart constructing and smart metropolis services for Nusajaya, consisting of safety services, energy and facility management.
